Marblue Cases

As Design Director of Marblue, Peter Solomon led the design team in the development and launch of all covers and accessories for each new device launch.  The four cases shown are for the iPhone 6 and the others are for the iPad Air 2.  The first case is an impact resistant robust silicone case called Toughtek, it is a matching style to the Toughtek for iPad Air 2 shown in the next images. This is a robust EVA foam case which can resist great drops and has many built in features including stands for viewing or typing, carrying handle and handle for use on-the-go.  The next case is the Elite, a high-tech, impact resistant case made from PC and over-molded with TPE.  It boasts shock absorbing internal ribbing and built-in side groves to accept a series of clip on accessories. Accessories include a belt mount and stand, a carmount and a snap on jogging armband. The rotating mechanism for the belt clip, armband and carmount are a patent pending mechanism Peter Solomon developed to allow for a satisfying rotational movement with 8 positions of positive stops, easy assembly, and almost infinite lifecycle.   Next you can see the Jag Flip, a clever flip case with very high end finish and styling.  The racer wallet is a wallet case with stand features and credit card slots. Anticipating the market push back of the size increase of the new iPhone line, Peter Solomon also developed a patent pending mechanism to allow the PC phone shell to be removed by depressing a small tongue while sliding outward and easily re-assembled.   The Racer Axis for iPad Air 2 takes advantage of the same styling as the phone case and boasts a 360 rotating feature and various viewing angles.  The packaging won the American Package Design Award 2014 with its curved fold lines and fun forms.
