Serious Simulations – Pro VR Headsets for Military and Football Training

Serious Simulations approached psd to develop a professional-grade VR headset tailored for military training, aiming for a highly immersive experience. The project expanded into a versatile VR headset suitable for various professional applications, including theme parks and training simulations.

psd’s design focused on balancing large components with an innovative headband system that allowed the headset to be flipped up easily for quick transitions between virtual and real environments. The adjustable headband offered a custom fit, providing comfort during long training sessions.

Following the success of the military VR headset, psd was tasked with creating a new design specifically for professional football training. This version is mounted onto a football helmet, providing athletes with a dynamic virtual training environment that simulated complex plays and scenarios, enhancing realism and athletic performance.
