Firema Catania Metropolitana

This train was designed for Catania and the interior created to reflect the beauty of the landscape of this beautiful Sicilian seaside town. The ceiling is an illuminated skyline effect, with sand colored walls and wave like water tone gradient seats designed specifically for this project for beauty and comfort.  The train travels both above and underground and the interiors needed to feel fresh and appropriate in each setting.  Studies were created to simulate various light sources and their affect on the surface treatments in the environments.
