The first product shown, altra-ergo is a well designed, low cost stacking outdoor chair for the mass markets. It is winner of Good Design 2004, and has been published in numerous magazines and books. Its gracious armrests and ergonomic shape give wonderful comfort to the users, the vented backrest and seat provide breathability and flexibility where needed. The aesthetics are clean and classical and go well in many domestic settings outside as well as in-doors.
The smooth-table was next introduced and was a successful flat-packed dining table with simple 3 step assembly. It was made to fit 4 altra-ergo chairs or to be placed one next to another to make a longer dining table.
The little-partner table co-designed by Peter solomon and Toshi Satoji. It won another Good Design award in 2007. It is a revolutionary stacking table, since it has inset solid tubular legs rather than flimsy angled external sheet legs like all the other stacking tables, it is robust able to hold incredible weights. To create the stacking feature a small clover shaped cover is supplied snapped to the underside of the table at 45-degree angle. They stack easily one above the other in just 25 mms of offset. When a buyer takes one home, he simply removes the clover cover from underneath and snaps it onto the top to make a flat solid table.
